Vast Announces Departure of Chief Financial Officer

SYDNEY, Australia, July 25, 2025 -- Vast Renewables Limited (“Vast”) (OTC: VSTTF), a leading Australian clean energy technology company, today announced that Mark Smith will be stepping down from his role as Chief Financial Officer.

Craig Wood, Vast’s Chief Executive Officer, will act as interim Chief Financial Officer until a permanent successor is named.

“We thank Mark for his leadership and commitment during his time at Vast. He played an important role in supporting our growth strategy, and we wish him all the best in his next chapter,” said Craig Wood, Chief Executive Officer.

Vast is advancing its Australian operations as the company moves toward Financial Close later this year on Vast Solar 1 (“VS1”), its flagship utility-scale clean energy project at the Port Augusta Green Energy Hub. Vast also continues to develop the South Australian Solar Fuels project – a world-first renewable methanol demonstration plant at the Hub.
